BASF increases prices for Neopentylglycol and Trimethylolpropane in Europe

Wednesday 12. September 2012 - BASF is increasing the prices of the polyalcohols neopentylglycol (NPG) and trimethylolpropane (TMP), with immediate effect or as existing contracts permit by 150 €/mt in Europe.

Polyalcohols are widely used in solvent free coatings and for the production of polyurethanes, alkyd resins, unsaturated polyester resins and synthetic lubricants.
