Many Top Am Law 200 Firms Tap Océ Business Services for Advanced Document Management, eDiscovery Solutions

Océ Business Services, Inc. a Canon Group company and a leader in managed business process services, today announced it provides outsourced document management and electronic discovery services to 26 of the top 50 Am Law 200 firms. This includes five of the top 10 firms and 13 of the top 25 firms. The Am Law 200 list, published annually by ALM Media Properties, ranks the top U.S. law firms according to gross revenue.
As an example of the value Océ Business Services provides, a leading law firm saw an opportunity to advance its records management program to a higher level. The opportunity centered on teaming with Océ, which had an existing track record of success providing the firm with mail and print center management services, to implement new approaches that would help improve the efficiency of the firm’s records operation. Océ created a dedicated records management team and streamlined workflows, which allowed attorneys to spend more time practicing law. Océ also implemented process improvements in the firm’s records storage and disposition system, which decreased file room space and helped reduce records program costs by over $70,000.
