Bernd Buchholz Steps Down from the Bertelsmann Executive Board

Thursday 30. August 2012 - Dr. Bernd Buchholz (50), a member of the Bertelsmann Executive Board and CEO of Gruner + Jahr, has tendered his resignation from his Executive Board mandate to the Supervisory Board of Bertelsmann Management SE, with immediate effect.

The Supervisory Board regrets this decision, and thanks Bernd Buchholz for the long years of collaboration.
As a majority shareholder, Bertelsmann continues to stand by Gruner + Jahr and supports the further development of the company.
