CARTES has been the first company to believe, develop and industrialise the LASER TECHNOLOGY applied to the self adhesive label die cutting. Today, 13 years later and more than 200 Laser machines installed in 34 different Countries, the CARTES LASER technology is acknowledged and renowned worldwide.
The combination of the Laser technology with the printing units of CARTES HS series has given birth to the HS COMBILASER SERIES where the Laser die cutting is combined with hot stamping, silk screen printing, embossing and varnishing units. This typology of machine is really appreciated among the label producers as it allows to make various processing in a single production cycle and fulfil luxurious labels in a short production time.

At LABELEXPO AMERICAS, Cartes will present the machines of the NEW SERIES GT 360 that are all configurable with hot stamping, silk screen printing, varnishing, embossing, flat die cutting, LASER and/or rotary die cutting.
The NEW GT 360 SERIES will bring to market an innovative integrated technology that will offer many advantages:
– EXTREME MODULARITY Thanks to the presence of a single communication bus for all the units it will be possible to invert, replace, or even later add more units to the original configuration of the machine
– AUTOMATIC CENTRING DEVICES The NEW GT 360 series is equipped with the recent automatic Multi Head Positioning System that allows to simultaneously correct, on each printing unit, the gap irregularities detected on pre-printed materials. Each printing unit is automatically centred in order to be precisely positioned on the label and markedly reduce the material used when starting a job. Therefore, this device will allow to optimize the working times and reduce the waste of material.
– ENERGY SAVING The centralized management system of the drives power supply allows the exchange of energy (sharing) between the motors during the operation of the machine. Thanks to the IGBT technology, the energy generated by the motors during the braking phase is reused or even returned to the network to power other devices working in the same moment into the factory. It follows a remarkable saving in energy with a special focus on the GREEN TECHNOLOGY by CARTES
– SAFETY FOR THE OPERATOR The application of the most advanced security systems such as STO (Safe Torque Off), SS1 (safe stop), SBC (safe brake control) and SLS (safety limited speed) has achieved the most effective protection for the operator and for the machine, combining safety to the production needs
