Michael Mathé Joins Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A.

Wednesday 18. July 2012 - 20-Year Industry Veteran Brings Expertise as Senior Vice President International Sales

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced Michael Mathé has joined the company as Senior Vice President International Sales. Mathé’s is responsible for managing Konica Minolta’s sales and marketing strategy as well as operations in Latin America. He will also provide support to Konica Minolta Business Solutions Canada. Mathé will report directly to Rick Taylor, President and Chief Operating Officer, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc.

Mathé is an industry veteran and spent the last 16 years at Toshiba America Business Solutions most recently serving as Vice President and General Manager, International Division. In this role he managed the development and execution of all key functional areas for the International Division for Toshiba in Latin America and the Caribbean. Under Mathé’s leadership, the organization improved customer service, expanded its distribution base, increased brand awareness and acquired key assets.

Mathé has also held positions at Lanier Worldwide Inc., Riso, Inc. and Complete Business Systems (an Ikon Company) working in the United States, Canada, Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Central and South America and the Caribbean in positions ranging from general management, sales, marketing, advertising, operation and training. He has a bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina and is fluent in Spanish, French, Portuguese and English.
