Takano to Demonstrate Second Generation Coreless POS Roll Slitter Rewinder at DRUPA 2012

Monday 21. May 2012 - Takano today formally showcased its second generation coreless POS roll slitter rewinder dubbed KY-C301 at DRUPA 2012 in Dusseldorf, Germany.

This system is ideal for slitting and rewinding of light-weight and small form-factor paper rolls without the presence of any physical cores. The technology which Takano Machinery first developed in 2004 has been refined and improved throughout the years. With many field installations and experience collected, the company has further enhanced and perfected the technology that is now becoming a viable solution for hand-held devices that require printers with small paper rolls.
“We are pleased to debut the system here at the show because we felt that coreless paper rolls should be taken seriously for cost saving and environment friendly purposes.” said James Huang, Vice President of Takano Machinery Co. “The saving will be huge in the long run and the significance of this technology will be felt and appreciated when it comes to small form-factor and light-weight applications such as mobile printers.” James further added.
This cordless slitter rewinder has earned CE seal and the company will perform live demonstration at the Exhibition.
