ROTATEK BRASIL present Gutenberg-Graffiti-Live at DRUPA in Düsseldorf

Monday 21. May 2012 - Two international Stars spray for Favela Kids in Brasil

Two graffiti artist form Germany and Brazil are spraying daily at the booth of ROTATEK Brasil in hall No. 11 /E 19 at DRUPA in Düsseldorf.
The German, kj263, born in Russia, and Binho Ribeiro, the Brazilian pioneer in graffiti art in Brazil and Latin America, are working together to make a donation to help children in the favelas of Brazil.
ROTATEK Brasil is a midsize family-run company founded in 1984 and specialized in creating the right solutions tailored for the most diverse types of print runs, combining printers with in line finishing systems of superior print quality and exclusive systems for several requirements. Antonio Dalama, Head of the company, is also one of the founders of EXPOPRINT Latin America in São Paulo, the largest event for the graphic arts industry in Latin America.
Son Alexandre Dalama, Commercial Director, was very early interested in supporting graffiti-artists in Brazil. He is the one who brought the idea of telling the whole story from Gutenberg to modern digital print in graffiti to DRUPA City. His sister Kátia Dalama, Assistant of the Management, places great emphasis on social commitment. In this way the idea with the graffiti show for raising funds for street kids was born.
A perfect organization was found with the Favela Education e. V. Düsseldorf-Rio, founded in 1992 by the Düsseldorf artist Thomas Schönauer, his Brazilian wife and friends of the couple.
Since the start of DRUPA, the Gutenberg Graffiti Galaxy live performance has produced three pieces of art on a wall, 10 meters long by four meters high: one is representing the past Gutenberg time, one the present time, and one the future – from the art book of printing through the global village and the digital era.
