Positive reception for the new Munken Design range
Friday 06. May 2011 - Sales of the newly extended Munken Design range have increased by 16.5% in 2010. Munken has received the warmest reception possible from printers and designers alike since the addition of the new Munken Rough quality last year. A number of high-quality productions have been produced on the grade with the Munken Rough qualities proving to be a popular choice of paper.
“Munken has a stable clientele and sales are performing well. Right now, we are seeing an influx of new customers as well as a clear increase in sales, with the rougher paper qualities accounting for a large part of this,” says Garry Colyer, Managing Director for Arctic Paper UK.
When the Munken Rough range was launched almost one year ago, there were no other products offering such unique characteristics. The papers have the markets roughest surface and are wood-free, age resistant; providing outstanding print results. The response to the new qualities has indicated a real demand for them.
This success is now being followed by a new campaign – Munken Art Workers
“Arctic Paper Munkedal mill, where Munken is manufactured, has demonstrated its sensitivity towards contemporary trends. We will be highlighting this expertise in the new Munken campaign,” says Garry.
The new campaign encapsulates the spirit at the mill in Munkedal, where history, experience and expertise are inbuilt. Design paper of the highest imaginable quality is created here each day by skillful employees. The campaign is called Munken Art Workers and celebrates both Munkens heritage combined with its reputation as an industry leading grade.
Munken Art Workers will be a combination of brochures, magazines and design teasers. The campaign highlights the paper’s unique possibilities, while also reflecting Arctic Paper’s deep commitment to nature and the environment.
