PBBA Attends ON DEMAND Exposition – Introduces Digital Lagoon

Wednesday 13. April 2011 - At the Publishing XChange Conference and ON DEMAND Exposition held in Washington D.C., the PBBA was proud to introduce the newest member, Digital Lagoon. This is a full service media and print company that represents the new wave of thinking in the print industry. Too many of our members are turning away business because they traditionally have not handled that request or able to meet the demands of a large format market. Digital Lagoon can be the solution to the issue.

At the PBBA we work diligently to determine the market trends and to assist our members in finding ways to be more profitable, especially in view of the economic conditions the country is experiencing. This message is a service to advise our members about a resource that can help them.
Using a company like Digital Lagoon as your “back room partner” you can say “yes” to almost any print request without increasing your overhead. Every member has a limited number of customers they interact with on a daily basis. Outsourcing large print for those not interested in making the significant capital investment necessary provides the ability to meet your customer base with no additional equipment.
Never turn a client away or drive them to another company that provides more services. The digital world has changed everything by expanding the range of materials and treatments never before available. Using a company like Digital Lagoon to provide quality printing at price points that allow you to make a great profit only makes sense. Without investing $$$ hundreds of thousands of dollars, every PBBA member can enjoy full range of products that will enhance the bottom line. The PBBA believes this is a very smart way of increasing your profitability.
Digital Lagoon offers a unique array of multi-media products and only sells Large Format UV printing. I invite you to visit the Digital Lagoon website at www.lagoon.com to see the range of products. They include banners, prints on a wide range of materials, 3-D images, lenticular flips, trade show booths, wall graphics, pop up displays, customized corporate imaging products, flags, and almost anything that can be printed on an unlimited range of substrates.
At the Exposition they also displayed large 4’ X 8’ floor mats that were customized for that show. Digital Lagoon also displayed a variety of corporate and promotional branding items. With graphic designers on staff, Digital Lagoon has all media services under one roof, not outsourced, waiting to meet the needs of our members wherever located in the country. The extensive national client list that Digital Lagoon serves makes them especially qualified to quickly respond to orders no matter where it may be needed.
Started in 1995 as solely a web design company they created the initial websites for Sprint, AMC Theaters, Garmin and Applebees. Digital Lagoon later expanded to interactive web training, corporate videos and multi-lingual presentation materials. In 2007 to meet the requests of their local and national client base for large format print, they acquired an Inca Flatbed UV printer along with an optical Spyder cutter. Digital Lagoon provides environmentally friendly highest quality printing on hundreds of different substrates to clients throughout the country. Custom small run custom boxes and unique design cuts can be produced by their in house equipment.
Digital Lagoon demonstrates the type of cutting edge technology that is representative of the PBBA goals. This dynamic member has its headquarters in the Kansas City area but is looking to expand into a variety of new markets throughout the United States. Members who are looking for representative/broker relationships in a variety of territories are encouraged to look at their website
