European Coatings Show 2011: Oxea Presents New Products and Applications
Wednesday 23. March 2011 - The global chemical company, Oxea, will be presenting its new products and applications at the European Coatings Show 2011 (ECS) in Nürnberg, Germany, the leading trade fair for the international paint and coatings industry, from March 29 - 31. Under the motto "Join the oxo people", specialists from Oxea will be available at booth 215 in hall 9 to inform customers about its comprehensive range of products and their different uses in various industrial applications.
Oxea is a leading manufacturer of high-quality raw materials for the coating industry with products such as carboxylic acids, polyols, amines, specialty esters, and alcohols.
One of the highlights at this year’s ECS is the coalescing agent OXFILM 351. It is virtually odourless and free of volatile organic compounds (VOC). Besides beating other coalescent agents on odour and VOC contribution, OXFILM 351 is up to 20% more efficient in reducing the minimum film-forming temperature (MFFT). It has been shown to be an efficient coalescing agent for a broad range of latex and coating types.
Expansion of production capacity is another important issue for Miguel Mantas, responsible for Marketing and Sales on Oxeas Executive Board: “Due to strong demand, Oxea has recently significantly expanded – and in some cases will almost double – its production capacity for polyols, specialty esters and carboxylic acids. We have improved our supply capability considerably and are now even more flexible in supporting the growth of our customers.”
“Our goal is to expand our leading position within Europe and to develop further along the value chain. We will therefore continue to strategically add new products to our product portfolio in the future and expand into growth markets,” commented Dr. Martina Flöel, spokesperson for Oxeas Executive Board.
