Argos Environmental Europe at Hunkeler Innovation Days

February 2011 - Argos Environmental Europe, world leader of web cleaners and air purification systems for the digital and offset print world, announces that during the Hunkeler Innovation Days at Luzern, Switzerland from 14-17th of February 2011, they will demonstrate the first result of a brand new concept, called CUBE.

The CUBE is a web based post coating device to be connected with high speed digital printing systems from all major printer manufacturers such as Kodak, Xerox, Ricoh-Infoprint, Screen, HP, Océ, DJM, Impika and many others.
With a thin layer of a protective water based coating on your prints it will bring the potential of your digital printing press system to a higher level. This IP protected solution gives an added value creating sharpness, higher dimensions to the images with vibrant colours. Inkjet, laser or wax based print solutions, it doesn’t matter, the CUBE will handle it, simplex mode, duplex mode or even with the optional feature, spot varnish.

Samples, printed by the Kodak demo team at their facility in Switzerland with the VL2200, are available at the Kodak booth during the Hunkeler Innovation Days.
The CUBE will be available for the market in the second half of 2011
