Pony Xpress Printing (PXP), one of the nation’s top screenprinters, announced today that Bruce Jolesch, a respected Dallas businessman and marketing executive well-known for his unparalleled commitment to customer service, recently purchased the company from its original owners and is now president and CEO.
PXP plans to be a strategic partner with promotional products distributors throughout the U.S. in conceptualizing and printing creative T-shirts for branded apparel, private labels and corporate promotional needs. PXP also will foster its national reputation for high-end retail apparel that the company has produced for brands such as Harley-Davidson, Cowboy Militia, DC Comics, the NBA, and more.
“Pony Xpress Printing has a great name in the screenprinting industry,” said Jolesch. “The company has excelled the past seven years in developing unique capabilities that now offer an exciting opportunity for growth. PXP is an innovator in the industry and we look forward to continuing and expanding that relationship. The talented staff of PXP that we retained, including Executive Vice President Jeff Henderson, will be our top asset as we move forward.”
PXP is an award-winning screenprinting company known for pioneering new techniques and offering clients a wide universe of innovative options and ideas for their printing needs. The company was founded in Dallas in 2003 and is now based in Garland, in a new, 30,000-square-foot printing and fulfillment center.
“Having spent 20 years in the promotional industry, I know what distributors want and need to be successful with their clientele,” said Jolesch. “It will be exciting to show them new, creative screenprinting techniques that may be a breath of fresh air for some of their clients and brands.”
Jolesch has been involved in sports and promotional marketing for nearly 30 years, including 12 years in public relations with Madison Square Garden, the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers and his own sports marketing agency. He spent 20 years in the promotional industry prior to joining PXP 13 months ago, including establishing The Jolesch Group and SWJ. Jolesch may be most well-known for being the first to use the term “Triple Double” when Magic Johnson scored double figures in points, rebounds and assists.
