DirectMail.com Corporate Expansion Prompts Two More Hires

Friday 17. December 2010 - Creative Director/Copywriter and New Business Specialist Join DirectMail.com Team

DirectMail.com, a leading provider of integrated direct marketing solutions, today announced two new additions to the staff. Richard DeVeau joins the management team as Creative Director/Copywriter, while Margaret McLaughlin assumes the position of New Business Specialist within the Sales & Marketing Division. Both hires help implement the firm’s strategic business plan by adding expertise in areas critical to its expansion efforts.
DeVeau possesses over 25 years’ experience providing creative direction, copy writing, broadcast advertising, social media utilization, website design and search optimization services for a variety of agencies and customers. Notably, his past clients include Polaroid, Habitat for Humanity, Red Lobster, American Lung Association, T.J. Maxx, Ducati Motorcycles, WNET Channel 13, Bank of America, the Jane Goodall Institute and other high-profile companies and nonprofit organizations. Most recently, DeVeau has focused his expertise on implementing multi-channel fundraising and marketing communications that integrate traditional and emerging media for donor communications and brand-building. At DirectMail.com, DeVeau will oversee implementation of advanced multichannel marketing processes and direct day-to-day creative output.
DeVeau adds, “The communications and marketing channels available today are becoming more diverse and segmented. Customers need to know what is appropriate in each channel and possess solid branding and communications platforms wherein they speak with one voice regardless of channel. Using my skill sets, I hope to assist DirectMail.com customers in identifying and integrating alternative messaging options and to speak consistently within and across channels.”
McLaughlin brings over 10 years’ marketing experience to the position at DirectMail.com, with concentrated expertise in business-to-business sales and franchise development. Her record of accomplishment is notable, increasing revenue by $750,000 in her first year in her last account executive position. At DirectMail.com, McLaughlin will hold responsibility for national accounts, focusing on commercial business expansion including franchise development and enterprise acquisition.
“Building relationships with key decision makers and matching customers with the right solution for their particular needs are critical,” says McLaughlin. “DirectMail.com offers current and potential customers an impressive array of turnkey, online marketing solutions. In particular, GeoSelector offers never-before-seen, on-demand capabilities to businesses that can enhance expansion while delivering impressive ROI on their marketing investments. I’m excited by the prospect of making enterprises and franchises aware of DirectMail.com’s growing portfolio of service and product offerings.”
Robert Salta, Principal, DirectMail.com, says “Finding individuals with the talent necessary to achieve short- and long-term business objectives can be a daunting task. In Richard DeVeau and Margaret McLaughlin DirectMail.com retained the perfect blend of expertise, experience, enthusiasm and innovative thinking. We are pleased to welcome them to the organization and wish them every success in their new positions.”
