Flexco enhances endless splicing with new updates

Wednesday 15. December 2010 - Flexco systems will be highlighting its two recent product launches, the Novitool Aero Press and the Novitool Pun M mobile finger punch. New enhancements on the Aero Press such as the quick valve release and increased bottom platen temperature control improve belt-fabrication and make the tool more user friendly.

Plus, two new components – a press and a power cord – ensure the tool is light and easy to use. Additional foam to the flight case has also been added for secure shipping and handling. The device also features integrated digital controls for temperature and pressure, and promises a quick splice time of 8 – 12 minutes.
The Pun Mis a faster alternative to a chisel and hammer, producing more accurate straight finger and finger-over-finger punches. Aluminium replaces steel in the lightweight design, making it easier to set up and operate for on-the-job repairs and easier to transport between job sites. No external energy source is required as the Pun Moperates solely on manpower. A punching force of 11,000 lbs (50kN) is created by pulling a simple hand-actuated lever.
