Overview of the Solution for a Sales Campaign to Promote Customer Store Visits
About solution provided by Fuji Xerox
Based on its know-how and solutions concerning one-to-one marketing, Fuji Xerox provides services that include planning and development of highly-detailed cross-media promotions based on customer demand, designing the optimum message and media, as well as a printing environment for various promotional documents. In the context of sales campaigns to promote customer store visits, Fuji Xerox developed a new system whereby a customer’s store visit history can be automatically recorded at a CRM application by scanning a QR code printed on a direct mail that the customer received, using Fuji Xerox’s ApeosPort multifunction device. This makes it simple to track customer responses to a promotional campaign, such as the number of people visiting the stores as a result of sending direct mails.
About solution provided by Oracle Corporation Japan
Oracle Corporation Japan’s CRM application, Oracle CRM On Demand, is provided as a SaaS, which has been garnering more attention recently. It enables a reduction in time and costs for introducing and establishing a CRM system. In addition to a basic database covering customers and business matters, the application is also equipped with a data warehouse, thereby offering a full-scale business intelligence function. This allows real-time tracking of campaign status and results, as well as chronological and multi-faceted analyses.
Combining these solutions from the two companies enables central management of customer data captured in different processes, including campaign survey responses, Web access logs, and store visit records. In addition, they realize an integrated communication service that realizes improvement of the efficiency and accuracy of their data analysis for campaign planning, visualization of the campaign progress, and analysis of the campaign results to plan next one. Thus, the solution will ultimately boost the number of successful business contracts, helping to implement a highly cost effective sales campaign.
To outline the new solution, Fuji Xerox and Oracle Corporation Japan will hold a webinar titled “Tips for Improving Marketing ROI Inspired by an Award-Winning Direct Mail” on Friday, October 8, 2010. All participants will receive a personalized thank-you letter, which invites them to visit a Fuji Xerox showroom where they can have firsthand experience of the solution.
