Standard Register today announced that Laura Modesto, category manager, and Mark Tilling, senior manager supply chain planning, were recently recognized as APICS Certified Supply Chain Professionals.
Introduced in 2005, the APICS CSCP program takes a broad view of the supply chain field, extending beyond internal operations to encompass the extended supply chain – from the supplier, through the company, to the customer and through to the end consumer. Individuals achieving this level of certification are equipped to effectively manage the integration of cross-functional activities to maximize value to the company. To qualify for the APICS CSCP designation, a candidate must complete a rigorous course of study and a comprehensive examination process.
“Continued development of our employees is critical to the transformation of our business and the continued success of our company,” said Greg Greve, vice president of Supply Chain Management for Standard Register. “This accomplishment demonstrates both the commitment that Standard Register has to our employees’ individual growth and the personal commitment by each of these individuals to the company’s ongoing success.”
The APICS CSCP programs build operations management excellence in individuals and enterprises through superior education and training, internationally recognized certifications, comprehensive resources and a worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals. As Certified Supply Chain Professionals, Laura and Mark have joined an elite group of professionals who have mastered the broad and complex body of knowledge that comprises supply chain management.
