Pyramid Printers completes finishing revamp

Monday 10. May 2010 - Completing its move to bring its main finishing services in house Pyramid Printers of Doncaster has beefed up its Ti52 Stahlfolder to enable it to handle a wider range of folds. Two years ago it bought a latest generation Polar guillotine and in February this year it installed a refurbished Stitchmaster ST100 saddle-stitcher.

“This investment has been good for staff morale, seeing us invest and battle positively against recession by bringing more work in-house and extending the services we offer,” says Chris Richardson, managing director. “We have more control of quality, reduced outwork bills and we can offer our customers the quicker turnround times they require. It’s investment that has given both the company and staff more confidence.”
Two additional units, a buckle and knife unit, bolted on to the existing Ti 52 mean that the company can now handle up to a 16pp portrait product and more complex folds covering a wide range of commercial job requirements.
“We have always found Heidelberg’s equipment top notch and their back up and support first class,” says Mr Richardson.
Pyramid Printers is a litho and digital production company which offers its customers “passion, precision and performance”.
