FOLEX PRINT ON & PRESS ROOM PIONEERS CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN RANGE
Thursday 06. May 2010 - FOLEX an experienced and established coater with manufacturing plants in Switzerland and Germany will offer visitors the opportunity to view its latest range of new products. It will focus on the newest developments within the Digital Print On and Press Room markets.
Digital Print On
The digital printer will find plenty of interesting products to see at the Folex stand, during IPEX 2010 in Birmingham. The focus this year will be on the extensive range of specially coated media products available for digital presses such as for HP Indigo, Kodak Nexpress, Xeikon, Xerox, Canon etc as well as its long established large-format Ink Jet portfolio.
The Folex Digiprint range was first launched in 1996 with the introduction of film materials for the highly successful HP Indigo digital press. Media quickly followed for Xeikon, Kodak Nexpress and the latest generation of colour presses from Xerox, Canon, Konica Minolta etc. Many of the Folex products have official OEM approvals and consist of PET Films in Clear, White, Adhesive and Cling as well as Textile T-Shirt transfer and photo papers. New to Ipex is a double sided 250 micron glossy white PET film for HP Indigo called Folex Digiprint IG WODS ideally suited for Point of Sale and promotional applications. Our colour laser range has a new matt white tough, tear resistant PET film called Longlife Pro Matt available in thicknesses from 115 micron – 265 micron. The environmental aspects are also covered with a newly FSC approved colour laser photo paper available from 130 gsm – 250 gsm for brochures, leaflets, and light proofs. Consistent & reliable print quality is the key features of our renowned Digital Press range.
The portfolio for Large Format Ink Jet has also grown considerably since its launch in the early 1990s with coatings now available for UV curing, EcoSolvent, Pigment & Dye ink technologies. Coated materials available include PET, Polypropylene, Photo and Fine Art Paper, Canvas cloth, Cling & vinyl adhesives. Applications typically for posters, fine art, banners, roll – ups and signage. Product highlights include our highly successful Reprojet P developed for screen and flexo printing colour separations and high resolution black line and halftone images. Our new UV Ink Jet receptive coatings offer improved and superior ink adhesion on Clear, White & stunning Silver metallic PET film. Finally expansion of the EcoSolvent range continues with Polypropylene banner film, brilliant reflective metallic silver film, a super Clear window graphic adhesive film and a classic Fine Art paper.
