IPEX ENVIRO-PARTNER ROLE FOR J & G
Monday 03. May 2010 - Print industry waste management specialists J & G Environmental are gearing up for a triple role at one of the industrys most eagerly-anticipated global events - the giant International Printing Exhibition (IPEX) which takes place at Birminghams National Exhibition Centre in May.
It will be a busy time for the award-winning Blandford-based company – which collects and recycles vast volumes of print waste – who will not only be joining exhibitors showing off products and services (Stand 09-F316) but also working alongside the PrintWeek magazine team producing Ipex Daily – the exhibitions official newspaper.
The Daily will be distributed widely at the show and dozens of other locations including Birmingham International Airport and train stations and keep visitors up to date with news from across the event.
The entire paper will be produced on-site at the show by a team of production partners, and PrintWeek have chosen J & G to be its environmental partner responsible for handling all printing waste arising from its daily production.
PrintWeek publishing director Wayne Manning said J & G had been “the obvious choice” for the task. “We were looking for just the right company to take on this role and of course we thought of J & G because of its strong environmental record.”
J & Gs team will also be handling all print waste collection from a number of other exhibition stands.
