Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced that the company has received the “Best Overall” rating for its line of bizhub Monochrome Multifunctional Products (MFPs – print, copy, fax, and scan all in one system) in the annual end-user study conducted by The Office Products Analyst, the longest running, continuously published publication that focuses exclusively on the office automation industry.

Conducted by Industry Analysts, Inc., the study asks Enterprise and SMB (small- and medium-sized business) customers across the continental United States to rate the monochrome MFPs that they use on a daily basis. Surveys are completed via extensive telephone interviews with hundreds of customers. In this year’s survey, Konica Minolta MFPs were ranked Best Overall against competing manufacturers including Xerox, Ricoh, Canon and others. Furthermore, Konica Minolta was rated best in key study categories including: General Ease of Use, Cost per Page, Image Quality and Full Service Maintenance Agreement.

“Konica Minolta has been a leader in the MFP market for years,” said Andy Slawetsky, President, Industry Analysts, Inc., publisher of The Office Products Analyst. “Based on feedback from customers, anyone in the market for a quality monochrome MFP should strongly consider a Konica Minolta bizhub device.”

“Receiving this accolade is a key indicator of our success in ensuring that our customers can continue to count on Konica Minolta for their print and imaging needs,” said Kevin Kern, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. “Our ongoing product innovation is driven by such user needs and demands, and we look forward to even further success in 2010 and beyond.”
