With fresh impetus into the new year

Wednesday 24. March 2010 - "Display Day" in Bückeburg: new products from Neschen and Expolinc

The motto for this year’s display day by Neschen und Expolinc was “Bring on 2010’s new products”. More than 60 premium partners from Germany, Austria and the Benelux states took up the invitation. They received a wealth of information on new display features such as the practical plastic box for pop-ups. But the new Colour Kit Classic and front rails also attracted great interest. They turn the silver metal base of the displays into a smart design element, colour-coded with the banner.

Another new feature are the Locking Clips which mean that the new profile sections used no longer have to be screwed but can simply be clipped into place. The outcome of this new standard profile section design is that no tools (screwdriver) are needed any longer. A further benefit is that clipping requires less work than screwing.

The two-day programme included a works tour at Neschen, workshops and also presentations on sales promotion measures in times of economic crisis. The subjects were: What is the best way to move forward? How important is a branded product? What opportunities arise from involvement in the Color Alliance (www.color-alliance.com)?

Thus armed, the Neschen and Expolinc dealers are looking ahead to the new year with confidence. “Full speed ahead out of the crisis” is uppermost in their minds: They definitely went away from the event buoyed up, and not just because they enjoyed the well-organised programme.

Hans-Jürgen Lange, Deputy CEO at Swiss Display in Wentorf near Hamburg, for example, appreciated the meeting at Neschen for the Expolinc display day: “Apart from the product workshops the most important thing for me is the chance to talk face-to-face with manufacturers and other successful dealers.” He continued: “That’s why I was delighted to take up the personal invitation to Bückeburg, because you get your information first-hand here.”

Francesco Saponari, a member of the Board of Directors at DiMedi in Baden-Baden, was also quite convinced: “Quality comes at a price, but it’s always worth it. In terms of quality, fortunately, we’re in safe hands at Neschen and Expolinc. We really appreciate this aspect. And on top of that is the outstanding partnership we have enjoyed for many years with these manufacturers.”

Neschen AG is exhibiting in the period 22-26 June at Fespa 2010 in Munich: Hall B2, Stand 260. The Bückeburg-based coating specialist will be showing its wide range of products. The portfolio extends from finishing, protective and mounting films to printable media which can be used in conjunction with the latest digital printing techniques for avant-garde architecture, décor and advertising. The coating specialist is particularly renowned for its inkjet media for large-format printing.
