OCEANA SET TO MAKE IPEX 2010 PARTY BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR

Tuesday 16. March 2010 - One of print’s biggest social highlights of the year, the Official Ipex 2010 party, looks set to entertain over 2,000 exhibitors and visitors from the graphic arts world at Birmingham’s famous Oceana nightclub on Monday 24th May, from 21:00 - 02:00.

Ideally located in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre, the Oceana night club boasts seven themed rooms including five bars, three VIP lounges and two dancefloors, making it a spectacular venue for party-goers to let their hair down until the early hours of the penultimate day of the international Ipex 2010 show.

Each of the seven rooms will have a theme inspired by cities from all over the globe. For example, guests can start with a drink at the First Port bar before making their way to the futuristic Tokyo Wakyama bar or relaxing in the Aspen Ski Lodge. They can then dance to a wide variety of music in the New York Disco or enjoy the glacial surroundings of the Reykjavik IceHouse. Whichever room guests choose to party in, the whole night promises to provide them with a perfect end to Ipex 2010.

“The Ipex party is always a highly anticipated part of the exhibition,” comments Nick Craig Waller, Ipex 2010 Marketing Director. “After seven hard-working days of meeting suppliers, liaising with customers and learning about print, the party offers a great way for everyone to have fun, network and seal the last few deals in a relaxed atmosphere.”
