Ipex 2010 Steps Up Co-marketing Campaign with Free Web-to-Print System for Exhibitors
Friday 12. March 2010 - To further support exhibitors during the final preparation stages for Ipex 2010, the organisers have launched a marketing template system which allows exhibitors to customise up to 500 pieces of various Ipex-branded marketing collateral. The new web-to-print system, developed in conjunction with RedTie Ltd, provides visitor invitations, promotional flyers, posters, stickers and advertisement artwork, which can all be personalised, printed and delivered to users premises for free.
The system also offers an option for exhibitors to order a customised postcard despatched to their customers for free, by merging a template with a database.
Nick Craig Waller, Ipex 2010 Marketing Director says, “Its our job to encourage as many visitors as possible to attend the show. With less than 10 weeks to go until Ipex, weve ramped up our campaign considerably. However, its up to the exhibitors to invite existing and potential customers directly to ensure they have a busy stand and can maintain and establish successful long-term business relationships. By expanding our existing range of comprehensive marketing tools with this web-to-print system, we can further support our exhibitors in their pre-show preparations and as a result help them achieve their sales and marketing goals.
“Weve teamed up with RedTie because they can combine their technical expertise with their own experience as an exhibitor to develop a user-friendly system that perfectly meets the requirements of other exhibitors.”
To set up, print and receive personalised promotional materials, exhibitors just need to create an account by visiting www.ipex.org/templates, choose a product, modify their chosen template with their company logo, stand number, URL and text, then specify quantity, approve the artwork and send to print. Different templates offer varying levels of customisation in just a few clicks.
In addition, users can save projects and return to complete them later, view their order history and store a small number of images in an image library for easy retrieval. They can also upload mailing lists and order fulfilment on a paid-for basis.
Chief Executive of RedTie Ltd, Marian Stefani says, “This is a fantastic opportunity for RedTie to partner with Ipex and provide an online marketing tool for exhibitors. We were planning to demonstrate our products at the event, so what better way to introduce ourselves than to provide a working example of a marketing template solution that exhibitors can use to generate awareness and boost their profile leading up to the event.”
Marian continues, “We are delighted with the artwork that Ipex has created. It is a perfect fit for our template software and provides RedTie with an ideal platform from which to launch our debut appearance at Ipex and we are looking forward to using the service ourselves in the run up to the event. Credit must go to the team at Ipex who, as ever, is looking for creative and original ways to expand the portfolio of services and features on offer to exhibitors.”
Graham Leeson, Marketing Communications Manager of Graphic Systems Division at Fujifilm Europe says, “The systems very straight-forward. So far, we’ve ordered flyers, stickers and posters, all personalised to include the Fujifilm logo and details, and are looking into other items such as customer invitations which allow a greater degree of personalisation. We plan to use the end results in conjunction with our own print and online marketing collateral in the run up to Ipex 2010 to encourage existing and potential customers to come and see us on stand 9-CD360 in Hall 9.”
David Stamp, Director of Marketing and Communications for the PrintCity Alliance comments, “All exhibitors should consider using the creative co-marketing tools provided by Ipex, to increase their event benefits and customer contact they can achieve.”
Ipex already offers an extensive co-marketing toolkit which provides a range of free electronic marketing materials, such as logos, co-branded registration websites, email template system, personalised URLs, PowerPoint templates and online banners and buttons.
