Hexion to Raise Prices for Composite Polymers in North America

Wednesday 24. February 2010 - Hexion Specialty Chemicals announced today that it will increase prices in North America for its unsaturated polyester resin and vinyl ester resin systems by five cents per pound, effective March 8, 2010 or as contracts allow.

Increased costs for maleic anhydride, glycols and other raw materials make the price increase necessary, said Gerhard Bohme, Business Director North America, Composite Polymers.
