imageData Group has strengthened its display services by installing a Zünd G3 L-3200 cutting table at its digital facility in Howden, East Yorkshire.

Wednesday 27. January 2010 - imageData Group has strengthened its display services by installing a Zünd G3 L-3200 cutting table at its digital facility in Howden, East Yorkshire. Following hot- on-the-tail of the company’s recent investment in the new M:Press TIGER digital flatbed printer, the Zünd G3 enables the fast prototyping, and production of small runs for display graphics & 3D units.

David Danforth, Managing Director of imageData Group, is confident that the Zünd will add to the company’s competitive edge in the point of sale and display graphics arena, “We are actively pursuing these specialist markets and make no bones about wanting a bigger slice of the cake. We already offer a great service for display material, including screen printing, litho printing, small and large format digital printing, but the Zünd now gives us an even better service.”

The Zünd G3 automates all cutting and trimming functions and is able to finish a vast array of different materials including foam materials, perspex, acrylics, vinyls and mount board up to 50mm/2″ thickness.

With a working area of 1800mm (width) x 3200mm and a maximum plotting speed of 1000mm/sec the L-3200’s wide format makes it particularly suited to finishing rolls of printed media, be they banners, flags or posters.
