New Metso Corporation shares registered with the trade register
Wednesday 30. December 2009 - A total of 8,593,642 new shares were subscribed for in the share issue relating to the share exchange offer by Metso Corporation for all issued and outstanding shares and stock options of Tamfelt Corp. The new shares were registered with the Trade Register on December 28, 2009.
Following the registration of the new shares, the number of Metso shares totals 150,348,256. Metsos share capital has remained unchanged, at EUR 240,982,843.80.
The new shares include the right to dividends and other distributions of funds as well as other shareholder rights in Metso as of the registration date, December 28, 2009.
Trading in the new shares alongside the existing shares will commence on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd on December 29, 2009.
