Méthode news is iPhone-ready
Monday 12. October 2009 - EidosMedias Web CMS now includes a dedicated iPhone app allowing news organisations to offer a rich online reading experience to iPhone users.
The delivery of online news to mobile phones and other devices has always been relatively simple for users of Méthode Portal Server. Editorial content developed in XML format is easily adapted through the application of suitable stylesheets for any display type and Méthode routinely allows news content to be customized automatically to a range of common handsets.
With the iPhone, this customization has been taken a step further. Méthode now includes a native iPhone app that news providers can customize for their own publications and offer for iPhone users to download and install (either free of charge or purchased from Apples App store). The application provides a dedicated interface optimized for display of the organizations online content.

The Méthode iPhone app fully supports all of the devices multi-touch and geolocation features and takes full advantage of its high-usability interface: it is tightly integrated with Méthode Portal Server, and all kinds of content (from text stories to photo and video galleries) created with EidosMedias Web CMS is automatically optimised for the iPhones display capabilities.
