Label Traxx Version 5.5 Uses Latest JDF and JMF Technology

Tuesday 29. September 2009 - Label Traxx—the popular print business management software for narrow web label printers and converters—employs the latest JDF and JMF technology in the most recent iteration of its popular software, Version 5.5.

Equipment and software manufacturers use the JDF and JMF protocols to control equipment and to report equipment operation. The Label Traxx links with Esko Backstage and the popular HP Indigo press, and is among the first production applications of the technology in the label converting industry.

Commenting on the use of JDF and JMF protocols, Tailored Solutions Sales Manager Dorothy Asboth commented: “Label Traxx has pioneered the use of technology in a number of areas, including online order interfacing with major industry consumables suppliers. The use of JDF and JMF in Label Traxx Version 5.5—our latest and most capable software release—carries that tradition to the next step. The use of JDF and JMF is becoming widely used in the offset world, and Tailored Solutions is proud to employ this next level of automation in the narrow web converting world. Again, Label Traxx leads the industry by enabling label producers to take advantage of the latest label production methods.”
