Cosmo Films/GBC Commercial introduces 6300 laminator at Print 09
Monday 28. September 2009 - Cosmo Films, Inc./GBC Commercial, a world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of commercial and on-demand laminating equipment and supplies, introduces their new 6300 laminator for one-sided finishing in the on-demand and commercial print finishing markets.
Designed for mid-volume print runs
Engineered for digital printers, commercial printers, and trade finishers, the 6300 is the ideal lamination system for laminating mid-volume, on-demand print runs of book covers, photo books, brochures, postcards and labels. Each system includes an automatic sheet feeder and separator for optimum productivity by a single operator.
System Features
The 6300 is designed with a number of features to ensure accuracy and the production of quality laminated output. For instance, an adjustable feed head provides precise feeding of every sheet while dual pneumatic nip pressure assures optimal bonding strength. After sheets are laminated, a perforating wheel aids in high speed, reliable separating of a wide range of laminating films. The system also includes a synchronized sheet separator with an adjustable skewing wheel to maintain continuous production.
Film
With its precision feeder, multi-zone heater and powerful snapper, any single-sided commercial polypropylene, nylon, or polyester films can be run on the 6300. For digital prints, Cosmo Films recommends Supreme Hi-Tac, Lay-Flat Hi-Tac and Krystal Hi-Tac. The systems integrated slitter can be engaged to cut film rolls to the appropriate width.
