Buhrs and Lake Image Systems to Partner at Print 09

September 2009 - Buhrs Americas the North American subsidiary of the leading international provider of mailing solutions and Lake Im-age Systems a leading provider of vision and control systems for the global direct mail and secure printing industries will once again be partnering to showcase products offered by the companies.
The Buhrs BB300 Solo, a versatile inserting system specially designed to meet the needs of smaller and medium sized companies, will be on display at the Lake Image Systems booth 8336. With an output of up to 10,000 inserting cycles per hour and high flexibility with respect to its mail processing capabilities and feeders, the system enables a cost-effective entry into high speed envelope inserting. This extremely user-friendly system achieves excellent net output with almost no downtime.
Lake Image Systems IntegraVision camera will be aboard the Buhrs BB700 insert-ing system at the Buhrs booth 7900. IntegraVision decodes human readable char-acters, barcodes, data matrix codes and text at speeds of up to 90,000 reads per hour, per camera. Multiple cameras may be combined within IntegraVision for com-prehensive inserter verification including: matching, IMB quality verification, double stuff detection, base stock verification, tray/bundle break sorting, missing/duplicate piece identification, collation control, image archiving and integrity reporting.
