Objet Launches 3D Printer Trade-in Program

Thursday 03. September 2009 - Objet Geometries, the innovation leader in 3D printing, today announced a 3D printer trade-in program to help users of rapid prototyping technology upgrade to Objet's newest and most advanced systems.

Participants in the program will receive a credit of up to US$80,000 or euro 60,000 toward the purchase of a state-of-the-art Objet system, including the Connex350(TM) or Connex500(TM), the only systems in the world capable of simultaneously printing multiple materials with different mechanical and physical properties. Alternately, participants in the program may receive a credit towards Objet’s market-leading Eden family. The trade-in program will run through December 31, 2009 and is available to both Objet customers and users of other 3D printers.

“In this challenging economy, we want to provide our customers every opportunity to adopt the most cutting-edge 3D printing technology available,” said David Reis, CEO of Objet Geometries, and added: “This unique program demonstrates our long-term commitment to our customers.”

Objet has received numerous technology, innovation and design honors, including the Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Innovation, the EuroMold Product Development Award, the RadTech USA Emerging Technologies Award and the Red Dot Award for product design.
