Thursday 03. September 2009 - Escenic is pleased to announce that the Escenic Geo-code plug-in 1.1-1 release is now available for download at Escenic Technet.
The Geo-code plug-in provides a convenient way to the users of Escenic content studio to geo-tag their articles. The plug-in is presented as an integrated part of Escenic Content Studio. Features include:
Address look-up directly from Escenic Content Studio
Reverse look-up of addresses and geographical names from GPS coordinates
Multiple map marker management: Manage map markers for related events, tours, etc
Escenic Content Engine stores all geographical information independently of which map solution is used for displaying the maps. It is possible to publish the same content in different channels and websites, using different map solutions. Typical solutions for presenting maps online are Google Maps, Yahoo Maps and Microsoft Live Maps.
Geo-code 1.1-1 is supported by Escenic Content Studio on both Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS.
