Atlantic Zeiser Continues Heritage of Product Innovation with Introduction of New Grayscale Printer Family

Atlantic Zeiser, a leading innovator and technology supplier for digital narrow format printing processes, today unveiled the DELTA 105, a series of powerful printer modules for commercial and security printing as well as the labeling and packaging industries. Available in four models, the DELTA 105 grayscale printer will be on display for the first time at key North American and European trade shows during the month of September, including:
Print 09, scheduled for September 11th through 16th at Chicagos McCormick Place is North Americas largest printing trade show. Atlantic Zeiser will be located in Booth 8311 in the North Hall.
Labelexpo Europe is the world’s largest event for the label, product decoration, web printing and converting industry, scheduled for September 23rd through 26th in Brussels. Atlantic Zeiser will be found in Hall 11, Stand Q75.

Higher Resolution, Improved Print Quality
DELTA 105 modules are available in water-based and UV models using high quality Atlantic Zeiser inks with a new generation of remote-controlled active ink supply. All DELTA 105 models feature a print width of 105 mm (4.13 inches) and 5-level grayscale. Pneumatic print head positioning places print heads in either print or park/clean positions. Multiple print head installations add further flexibility to DELTA 105 configurations.
Four Models Available
The DELTA 105 family is available in water-based and UV models:
DELTA 105 with UV ink features 600×600 dpi quality with print speeds up to 60 m/min (197 fpm) or print speeds of up to 120 m/min (394 fpm) at 600×300 dpi
DELTA 105i with UV ink delivers fasters speeds, at up to 120 m/min (394 fpm) at 600×600 dpi and up to 240 m/min (787 fpm) at 600×300 dpi
DELTA 105 with Water-based ink offers a high-quality water-based alternative that prints at 600×600 dpi at speeds of up to 75 m/min (246 fpm) or up to 150 m/min (492 fpm) at a resolution of 600×300 dpi
DELTA 105i with Water-based ink delivers even faster water-based printing with a speed of up to 150 m/min (492 fpm) at 600×600 dpi and up to 300 m/min (984 fpm) at 600×300 dpi
New with the DELTA 105 water-based family is the ability to print high quality on absorbent open substrates for commercial and security printing applications. UV ink models are ideal for printing on more difficult substrates such as lacquered, laminated and glossy materials often used in the packaging, food manufacturing and consumer goods markets. These highly functional UV systems meet the need for high-speed, high-quality grayscale printing for labeling, card personalization and other industrial/product printing applications.
Rounding Out the Atlantic Zeiser Family
The new DELTA 105 series occupies a premium position in the Atlantic Zeiser product family due to its benchmark speed, resolution and functionality. It is well positioned to replace existing continuous inkjet binary print technologies with the more feature-rich Piezo drop on demand technology at a comparable price level. DELTAs compact design facilitates easy integration into printing systems. All DELTA versions use the same head adjustment for a high level functionality across a variety of custom building blocks for a flexible, scalable manufacturing process. As an integrated solution from a single supplier that encompasses print heads, inks and a new generation of LED curing units and IR drying devices for high speed applications, the DELTA 105 series is the culmination of Atlantic Zeisers long history of and experience in delivering highly functional inkjet printing solutions.
