Escenic NewsGate 1.1-4

Wednesday 26. August 2009 - Updated versions of the plug-in providing two-way integration with CCI Newsgate.

Escenic Content Engine may be integrated with a wide variety of other systems. One of these is CCI NewsGate.

The Escenic Newsgate plug-in allows content editors to work with the same content both in Escenic Content engine and CCI NewsGate, with synchronization, locking and other features automatically managed by the plug-in.

Highlights in this release
Made the resolveurl in the urlresolver configurable. This should make it easier having one Newsgate installation talking to multiple Escenic installations.
CCI Newsgate acts as the master server for taxonomy definitions in Escenic. Each time the taxonomy definition is modified in CCI, an updated definition file is sent to the newsgate plug-in and the category tree in Escenic is automatically updated.
