IGI Seminar to Demystify Automated Publishing with Adobe InDesign XML
Tuesday 11. August 2009 - The Institute for Graphics and Imaging (IGI)an education and training organization funded by and dedicated to the printing and graphic arts industryhas announced a two-day training course on automated publishing with Adobe InDesign XML.
The course will be held on September 22 and 23, 2009, and will be conducted by Jim Maivald, an Adobe Certified Expert and Instructor in InDesign. Maivald is also the author of A Designers Guide to Adobe InDesign and XML. The course is appropriate for graphic designers, art directors, production artists, production managers, as well as anyone needing to understand the power and capability of XML. Discussing the new course, IGI Executive Director Ron Dahl commented: “Using XML in printing workflows can save designers, their clients, and printers money, and improves productivity throughout the process, from concept to the final printed product.
