Inline Plastics Corp. Announces New Plastic Food Container Manufacturing Facility in Georgia

Tuesday 04. August 2009 - New facility supports Inline Plastics’ commitment to service their growing base of customers in the Southeastern U.S.

Inline Plastics Corp. (Shelton, CT), in response to the continued growth of business for their innovative, environmentally- friendly, sustainable food packaging products, announces the opening of a new facility in McDonough, GA. Scheduled to be online in late 2009, the 158,000 sq. ft. facility will incorporate both manufacturing and warehouse capabilities, with a workforce of approximately 100 to 120 employees. Existing and potential supermarket, foodservice, distributor and processor customers in the Southeast will realize several key benefits from the expansion:

Shorter lead times: Lead times will be reduced, enabling customers to carry lower inventory levels of containers, resulting in increased inventory turns.
Increased flexibility on special orders or service situations: Presence of a local, empowered, customer-centric management team with a “can do” attitude.
Increased production capacity/capabilities: Enabling Inline to satisfy the demands of increased volumes as our customers grow their businesses.
“In spite of being located in the Northeast, Inline has historically enjoyed steady growth in the Southeastern states. Now we are demonstrating our commitment to the region by opening our own manufacturing and distribution facility in McDonough, GA. From this new location we can more efficiently service our Southeast customer base with significantly shorter lead times and a broad local product offering which includes our popular Safe-T-Fresh brand of leak resistant, tamper evident / tamper resistant crystal clear PET containers.”
Tom Orkisz – President, Inline Plastics Corp.
