Ouest France investing in the future
Tuesday 28. July 2009 - The French media group is strengthening its partnership with WIFAG by purchasing an OF 375 S newspaper printing press for its SIGL printing plant in La Ceverolière, near Nantes.
By the end of 2010 WIFAGs 4×1 newspaper printing press will begin printing in Nantes at a maximum production speed of 92,000 newspaper copies per hour. The 48-page printing press, of which 32 are in full color, will be installed in a new building. It is equipped with automated cut-off register and color register controls. To complete this high-performance printing press are six fully automatic A50 autopasters, one KF 140 2:5:5 jaw folder, an ABB control system and a CGI ink metering system.
Ouest Frances printing capacity expansion comes as a result of the excellent cooperation it enjoyed with WIFAG during the Nantes add-on project and the WIFAG evolution 371 in Angers.
