Appointment at manroland Australasia
Friday 03. July 2009 - Steve Dunwell new Managing Director of new sales and services organization
As of 1 August 2009, Steve Dunwell will be Managing Director of manroland Australasia. He says: “In order to meet the challenges faced by the industry in a dynamic and sustainable manner, manroland Australasia will strengthen its focus on the market, customers, and service, enabling us to respond even faster and more efficiently.”
Steve Dunwell, a well-known industry personality, who has worked with Currie Group in recent years, adds: “We are now bolstering the already strong manroland team for the long term future. The start of this new sales and service organization has opened up new favorable prospects for the company and thus for manrolands customers. It will further strengthen the already service focused manroland business, which was established by Graham Wickham and his team over the last 18 months. We want to replicate manrolands worldwide success with huge efforts in sales and marketing. The product range is now offered directly from the source and includes sheetfed and web presses as well as a wide range of services with printservices, printcom, printnet, and printadvice. One of the main goals at manroland is to optimize the benefits of our presses and enable future opportunities for value-added processes.”
Since 1 June 2009, manroland Australasia, fully owned by manroland AG, is responsible for sales, marketing, and services for the entire manroland product range in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Region. manroland Australasia, which was established out of the manroland web service Australia (MRWSA) organization, has opened two new offices, one each in Sydney and Melbourne. The manroland product and service portfolio, which was offered by MAN Ferrostaal (sales and services) and Web Services Australia (service webfed), is now bundled in the new manroland organization manroland Australasia.
