Eastman Increases OXO Alcohols Prices on July 1

Wednesday 10. June 2009 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective July 1.

These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials.

Eastman Propionic Acid, All Grades: Off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.07/kg, € 0.05/kg) in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Eastman 2-Ethylhexanoic Acid: Off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.14/kg, € 0.10/kg) in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
