Eastman Increases Glycol Ethers Prices on July 1

Tuesday 09. June 2009 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective July 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials.

Eastman DM Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.132/kg) globally.

Eastman PM Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.10 /lb ($US 0.22/kg) globally.

Eastman DE Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.132/kg) globally.

Eastman EP Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.132/kg) globally.

Eastman EB Solvent, All Grades: Off-list price increase of $US 0.08 /lb ($US 0.176/kg) globally.

Eastman DB Solvent, All Grades: Off-list price increase of $US 0.08 /lb ($US 0.176/kg) globally.
