FESPA Digital Revolution in Amsterdam
Tuesday 26. May 2009 - SUN LLC presented NEO UV-LED Evolution with new electronics at the biggest ever exhibition in Europe FESPA Digital in Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
Since 2007 SUN takes part in FESPA events (Berlin, Delhi, and Geneva). This year show was very big – 300 exhibitors under one roof covered an area of 15,000 square meters. European and foreign suppliers usually participating in the show and 90 first time exhibitors together offered to todays modern graphic producer and decision maker the unique chance to be on the edge. The exhibition united all famous players in digital printing industry. More than 10000 people visited the event in Amsterdam and it was a record – 10000unique visitors are more than ever.
This year exhibition theme is Digital Revolution and the product presented by SUN has shown the best identification with it. At our stand we presented NEO UV-LED Evolution printer with innovative electronics developed and produced by our specialists. Its a really REVOLUTIONAL product gives stable printing of unmatched speed and high-resolution quality and also electronics features the possibility to support up to 48 print heads with one machine at the same time.
A lot of visitors coming at our stand were impressed with the print quality we provided. We made 3d printing on laptops, glass, widow-frame, and ceramics as well as printing on canvas and wood. Also the stall was decorated with printed images. Lightened from behind they made an eye-catching effect. Visitors couldnt believe its possible to print such a volumetric picture without compromising quality. Also clients liked the color rendering of our SunFlower NANOink – vivid picture and smooth gradients.
At the show NEO UV-LED Evolution was the only printer to use KM512SH (4 pl drop size) print heads. Also the technology of print heads integration is being used for the first time. This way we combined print heads with different drop size in one printer: KM512SH (4 pl) for CMYK, KM512MH (14 pl) for LcLm and print heads with 42 pl for White.
Having seen us before many visitors mentioned significant improvements in printer concerning quality of printing, speed and appearance. Thats because our own electronics provides better performance and new Bosch-Rextroth guide and carriage also give stable and easy sliding.
At our stand we worked together with dealers from France, UK, Italy, Spain, Finland and Poland. Also clients from Mexico, UAE, Check republic, Germany, Estonia and other European and Asian countries come especially to see our printer before taking the final decision. At the show it was possible to compare all printers on uv-led technology to select the best machine.
After the very first exhibition day people all over the show knew in hall 7 there is a company from Russia who creates high-resolution prints on any surface. Even competitors from Efi Vutec, Mimaki, Grapo, Sericol ant other companies come few times to have a look at the machine. Many visitors told us about talks they have heard like “Did you see what Russian guys are presenting? Thats fantastic”. So people were eager to see everything with their own eyes. Even FESPA President Anders Nilsson visited us and he was impressed.
At the show there were no other companies except SUN to present printing on such variety substrates. And we consider it to be very important if the company announce a machine to print on any material it can really show it to prove the worlds. To say the uv-led printer can accommodate any media and show printing on pvc, banner or paper only is not enough. Thats why we presented printing on everything we were asked to print on. Our NEO UV-LED Evolution really gives instant curing, remarkable quality and diversity towards media as well as saturated colors and easy operation. It meets customers requirements from quite different industries.
Despite a fact SUN team was working on the stand no one has an idle time – we were ready to talk to all visitors interested in our technology. All with cameras clicked our printer and samples. It was amazing. We have few machines sold and good start of long-term relationship with some clients also.
No doubt FESPA Digital Revolution in Europe proved to be the place where people come actively to do business on the exhibitions floor and learn about new trends, machines and applications. We are very satisfied with the show and we wish every success to FESPA and going to participate next year in Munich event.
