DECOPRINT from DHJ International announces the launch on a range of new “Green Products” for the digital print market (eco-solvent, solvent & UV curable inks).

Tuesday 19. May 2009 - Just like our standard DECOPRINT © fabrics these new ecologically conceived fabrics offer a whole range of features for digital inkjet printers.

The best sellers from the standard DECOPRINT range such as Bi-Night High Drop & Pearl are now all offered as Formaldehyde Free Fabrics (ie. with less than 2 PPM). One just has to specify FF (Formaldehyde Free) when ordering. Going a step further DECOPRINT has launched a light weight multi purpose Polyester Canvas called Green Drop that has no Antimony Oxide and therefore is Halogen free but is still classified Fire Retardant to the world renown M1 standard. As far as we know a first in the coating industry for textiles.

For those unfamiliar with the DECOPRINT here are some of those essential features that make all the difference when making a user friendly Green choice for all your print media applications :

• no PVC resins used in our coatings
• no heavy metals, no fungicides, no phthalates
• no V.O.C. (No Volatile Organic Compounds)
• printable fabrics up to 122 inches (310cms in width)
• fabrics that meet the most stringent global fire retardant requirements (M1 & B1)
• fabrics that are strong and dimensionally stable
• fabrics that vary from being translucent to being totally black-out
• fabrics with a smooth surface or a surface relief for different effects
• fabrics with an additional topcoat to hold excellent print detail and colour density
