Tieto will renew the customer relationship and metering data management systems for Satapirkan Sähkö and its partner companies
Friday 15. May 2009 - Tieto will be delivering data systems for managing customer relations, invoicing, metering data and balance settlements to Satapirkan Sähkö and its eight partner companies.
Working together, the new systems will improve the quality of web services offered to end-customers, further develop the companies’ operational processes and make the management of growing amounts of data easier in several ways. The new systems will be put in service during 2010 and 2011.
The new customer relations management systems will allow companies and households to use a variety of services over the Internet, in addition to the traditional service channels. For example, customers will be able to monitor their energy consumption, enter contracts, as well as change their addresses and billing information online.
“This is the most extensive data system project in the history of our company,” says IT manager Jari Arve from Satapirkan Sähkö. “The systems will be used to process data vitally important to the operations of our partner companies. The readiness level of Tieto’s systems best matched our needs. The systems will help us reach our goals in terms of better services, system usability and more efficient operational processes.”
