Oce, an international leader in digital document management and delivery, has been recognized at this year’s ON DEMAND Conference & Exposition with a Best of Show award in the Color Digital Printing Equipment category for its new Oce CS Tandem family of scalable production cutsheet color printers. The Oce CS Tandem color cutsheet platform won for its unique flexibility, consistent color quality and production productivity.
The new Oce CS Tandem family unites multiple Oce CS665 Pro print engines with a centralized server, sophisticated color management software, and validated color consistency to deliver a new level of color performance in one integrated system. Available in multi-engine Oce CS130Tpro, Oce CS195Tpro and Oce CS260Tpro configurations, engine speeds range from 130, 195 and 260 ppm respectively.
Highly productive, centralized workflow lets a single operator run a group of Oce CS Tandem printers from a single workstation, optimizing labor and resource utilization. Centralized workflow improves productivity and accelerates turnaround by providing enhanced visibility and control, intelligent job routing and reliable error recovery. Print professionals benefit from on-the-spot flexibility that allows them to intelligently load-balance jobs across a group of printers as workloads fluctuate. Operators can specify whether jobs are routed to selected printers based on speed requirements, the need to print multiple copies of a document simultaneously, or a requirement to split long jobs among several devices to get them printed and out the door faster.
