Monday 30. March 2009 - Adding geotagging features to Escenic Content Studio.

Escenic Geotagging Module will add efficient geotagging functionality completely integrated into Escenic Content Studio. Features include:

Fast online lookup of addresses: Cities, towns, streetnames and numbers
Reverse address lookup for GPS coordinates
Direct marker placement on maps from within Escenic Content Studio
Map marker management
Getoag metadata stored with the article in Escenic Content Engine include: GPS coordinates, address, accuracy, etc and all attributes are easily accessible in the presentation layer.
Map independency – the stored geographical information can be used to present maps using several mapping solutions, also to use different maps for different websites and/or channels
Escenic Geotagging Module will be released in Q2 2009.
