I. Infinite Glass: the 1st 100% recycled – 100% recyclable glass, dedicated to Perfumery and Cosmetics.
SGD, a precursory glass manufacturer, anticipates on new needs related to sustainable development and creates the 1st 100% recycled glass dedicated to Perfumery – Cosmetics:
Glass, endlessly recyclable, is well-known to be one of the most environmentally friendly material. But contrary to the popular perception, its composition is never 100% the result of recycling. In the perfume industry, glass is usually composed of 30% of in-house cullet (recycling of the production loss) and 70% of raw materials (sand, sodium, fining agents).
Using a higher level of cullet in the glass production enables to avoid raw materials extractions, lower carbon dioxide rejections and energy consumption.
With the Infinite Glass, SGD launches a new type of glass composed with 100% of white household cullet, which environmental impact is as low as possible.
By producing this new environmental friendly glass, SGD complete its standards range with a new line of bottles and jars coming from eco-conception: “Gaïa”. This line is inspired by creations from the goddess of nature; its design plays with material movements, the fluidity of waves and the balance of elements.
II. Goutte: the new cosmetic line of SGD La Collection!
SGD, the world leader in glass bottles manufacturing, pads its standards offer for Cosmetics and launches, for Bologna Cosmopack exhibition, a new beauty line named “Goutte”.
Created by the designer Valérie Bernard, the line is composed with five references (including two 30 and 50 ml bottles and three 15, 50 and 200 ml jars), with pure and human shapes, all in curve and modernity. The fluidity and lightness in its design are emphasized by a moderate glass weight.
This range was designed to come up to the market current needs: large jars openings for a better use of the product, necks adapted to most pumps and caps and wide areas to decorate
Bottles are perfectly adapted for foundations and skincare.
III. New SGD La Collection Catalogue: new standards, so trendy!
We can observe today a strong trend around the need to feel good and search for well-being. There is a desire to feel well at home. TV shows for home decoration meet a huge success and develop in number. New concepts for spa are merging every day.
SGD, the world leader in glass bottle manufacturing, is always listening to markets evolutions and therefore extend its standards range with three new categories: Home, Aromatherapy and Hair Care segments.
You can discover them in the new edition of SGD La Collection catalogue, presented exclusively during the Bologna Cosmopack exhibition.
With an offer of 280 references, with various shapes, capacities and necks, you could realize all your needs!
In this catalogue, two market segments can be found:
