ROTOMEC presents new solventless laminator in demonstration at the Open House held during Converflex 2009
Tuesday 10. March 2009 - At the forthcoming Converflex exhibition to be held in Milan, Italy, 24 - 28 March 2009, ROTOMEC will present the solventless version of its very successful CL 850 multi-technology laminator. Visitors to Bobst Group stand E30-F33, in hall 10, will view displays and literature on this latest development in ROTOMEC laminating technology, whilst the machine will be in demonstration at the companys Technology Center in San Giorgio Monferrato 24 to 27 March.
ROTOMECs laminator, the SL 850 is a compact, highly productive machine dedicated to solventless applications. It features an extremely sensitive and accurate web handling control system which is characteristic of ROTOMEc engineering and particularly relevant when using solventless adhesives. This considerably increases the quality of the laminated structures, whilst decreasing the amount of waste in the process.
A high performance user-friendly laminator with very good accessibility to all machine sections, the SL 850 is equipped with automatic duplex winders which are instrumental in increasing productivity as compared to simplex winders. The duplex winders also provide fully automatic bi-directional splicing at production speed.
ROTOMEC gravure printing technology will also be well represented at both Converflex and the Open House. A printing unit of the RS 4004XHS gravure press for high volume printing at production speeds of up to 600 m/min (1’968 ft/min), will be on display on the Converflex stand, whilst a 9-colour RS 4004X line will be in demonstration in the ROTOMEC Technology Centre. A highly automated gravure printing press, the RS 4004X is configured for short or short-to-medium production runs and it is available in two versions with shaftless or shafted cylinders.
Comprehensive information will also be presented at Converflex on the wide range of converting solutions for plastic films and other flexible materials including ATLAS and TITAN slitter rewinders, GENERAL vacuum metallizers, FISCHER & KRECKE and SCHIAVI flexo printing presses.
