AUTOSORT MC-C sets the Benchmark in Carrot Sorting
Thursday 05. March 2009 - Radix, manufacturers of electronic sorters for the food industry, will be promoting the latest addition to their range - the new Autosort MC-C automatic sorter for carrots. Already installed in Holland and Germany, this machine will process 12 to 15T/hr of washed carrots, whilst removing up to 80% of all colour, shape and size defects.
Milan Fuchs, General Manager of Radix said; Our latest MkII’ machine is better than anything on the market. The Autosort will save on manual inspection, inspects carrots from top and bottom as well as crown to tail, and can do it in full colour and in the infrared spectrum. Recent trials in Belgium have been universally well received and we are establishing the Autosort as the benchmark in carrot sorting.”
Radix Systems Limited, located in Hampshire, celebrate their 21st anniversary this year; establishing their expertise in electronic inspection, principally for the food industry. Their standard range of products is supplemented by systems that are specifically designed for the more demanding applications. Their biscuit, dehydrated vegetable, herb and potato flake sorters are established throughout the UK and rest of Europe as leading machines for these applications.
