EXCALIBUR: THE RIGHT ANSWER FOR ROTARY DIE CUTTER FROM TEXO GROUP

Wednesday 04. March 2009 - Well known all over the word since more twenty years the TEXO trade mark is an important reality in the international market for the production of Rotary Die Cutters, Printing Lines, Flexo Folder Gluers and Stripper Stacker units.

Thanks to the new ownership, the Company is reaching a new level of success satisfying all the existing customers and, at the same time, creating new relationships.
The success of TEXO GROUP is due not only to the quality and to the technical innovation of its products, but it is also thanks to its flexible structure that we are recognized as a company able to satisfy the different needs of the market.
Between the lines of our production, the Excalibur Rotary Die Cutter is today the most sold machine. It is a line able to achieve high printing quality also with varnish and coated paper.
Its kinematics is composed of 6 asynchronous motors in eccentric axes handled by Indramat electronic.
The feeding unit is equipped with Texo-feed system and feeding extension system.
The printing units are equipped with soft drive vacuum transport and closed chamber doctor blade.
They could also lodge a hot air drying system on each unit.
With the transfer unit we have introduced a physical space between the printing units and the die cutter so to create the distance that the sheet requires to enter the die cutter not before having completely come out from the printing cylinder axis. Also this unit could house a hot air dryer system.
The die cutting unit is equipped with Die-holding cylinder with Rapid System for the rapid die attachment and self grinding equipment.
The line has a centralised control system equipped by a personal computer with file of all regulations for rapid fault detection and tele-assistance by modem
Our range of products includes also:

ADVANCE version with vacuum transport and general electronic programmer
– FFG 130, our Flexo Folder Gluer with folding unit with vacuum transport and counting ejecting unit with coming of the sheets from the top.
Finally thanks to our willing to satisfy the market needs we have developed the new GLADIUS Rotary Die Cutter, the evolution of the well known Excalibur.
The Twin-Color printing unit together with the completely independent motorization are the winning characteristics of this new line.
In fact, the Twin-Color group allows to have on the same unit two anilox rolls with different screen characteristics, with the purpose to permit the very fast change from a kind of production with high quality printing to another one more traditional.
