New Curioni Direct Drive machines
Tuesday 03. March 2009 - Curioni have developed a new series of Flexo-Folder-Gluers and Rotary Die Cutters fully controlled through Direct Drive technology. Curioni gearless philosophy is a true direct drive technology since all machine axis are fully controlled by independent brushless motors.
The new 1000 x 2500 dd is a fixed unit Flexo-Folder-Gluer specially designed for fast set up of the printing units and is capable of a speed of 18.0000 sheet per hour. The bottom printing machine is equipped with vacuum transfer between the printing units and intermediate dwell stations, top die cutting unit, vacuum folder and top loading counter ejector.
The new 618 minline, with 675 mm repeat and 1800 mm width, can feature Corrusleeve fast set up system for changeover of printing plates in less than one minute. The direct drive control of all printing units grants an excellent print accuracy also at the high speed the machine can run (mechanical 22,000 s/h).
Curioni new Rotary Die Cutters dd are available in 66″ repeat with 2100 and 2900 mm width, full vacuum transfer, dwell station, a unique system for fast anilox roll change and a new design stripper-stacker.
